About John F. Cloutier
He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where he majored in Electrical Engineering and in Computer Science. He also did graduate work in engineering and economics at California State Polytechnical University. He received a Juris Doctorate degree from Pittsburgh's Duquesne University School of Law.
After graduation from college John worked as an engineer for Combustion Engineering in Winsor, CT at their Controls System Division. Soon after, he was called to active duty as an Air Force Officer serving 7 years on active duty as a pilot. He later went on to fly for Pan American World Airways and ATA Airlines where he was a captain and check airman.
While living in California he began to buy, rent, and sell real estate which sparked his interest in real estate law. He still has about 15 properties in California and also ownes many in Chicago where he continues as an active real estate investor.
John is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Florida. He received a score of 171 on the multi-state portion of the bar exam which placed him in the top 1% of those taking the test.
